The Password is case-sensitive.

  • If the user fails to enter valid credentials in 3 consecutive attempts, their account becomes locked. The user will need to contact the Administrator to unlock their account in User Management and reset their password.
  • 5 consecutive invalid login attempts will block the IP address from where the user is logging in. The Administrator can unblock an IP address on the Blocked Hosts page.
  • Using the ‘Forgot Your Password?’ feature will trigger an email to the user’s email address with a One-Time Password, which the user can enter to access the Webex Campaign. Upon logging in, the user will get a prompt to change their password.
  • After login, if a user is inactive for 30 minutes, such a user will automatically log out of the application.

If you are not using LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) to access the Webex Campaign, the following are applicable while creating/resetting a password.

  • A password must be at least 8 characters long and should not exceed 15 characters.
  • A password should not contain your user name or email details.
  • A password should be a combination of letters, digits, and special characters([$@!%*#?&()+,-./:;<>=?"'_{}[]|^~`\]) and should contain at least one upper case letter.
  • An email reminder is sent to users to reset their password 7 days before password expiry.
  • A second email reminder is sent to users to reset their password 1 day before password expiry.
  • If a user is resetting a password, it must be different from the last 6 passwords.
