Email Composer mini-release 2019 February 11th

Here’s the list of enhancements in this release:

1. Conditional Building Block : bug fixes and technical optimization:

We have made some technical optimizations in how we store and process information about Conditional Building Blocks. This should make the Conditional Building Blocks quicker to load within the Email Composer.

We have also squashed some minor bugs in the Conditional Building Block while we were making these technical improvements.

2. Multiple Building Blocks containing Images : Removed ‘Border Style’ and ‘Paddings & Margins’ options for Images under Style Palette (IMI-INC9622349):

We have removed the ability to add borders, paddings and margins to images within the following Building Blocks. We noticed some alignment issues in rendering the emails on iOS devices under certain conditions when a border, padding or margin is applied to the image itself. These options will not be visible when an Image is selected in following blocks ( These options will continue to be available at the overall Building Block level itself, where appropriate).

3. Fixed a bug where Image alignment was not working for ‘Image’ & ‘Image (100%)’ Building Blocks in Apple mail and iPad under certain conditions.

In addition, we have been working on the technical PoC for a few exciting new features that we plan to release over the next few months (e.g. ability to use a client-specific bespoke web font).
